FUNdamentals Occupational Therapy supports children and their families to develop the fundamental skills necessary for successful participation in all aspects of life.

Occupational therapists at FUNdamentals Occupational Therapy work with children aged 3 to 18 who stuggle to complete day-to-day tasks because of poor motor skills, self regulation and or sensory processing issues.

Therapy treatments are tailored to your childs specific needs. After a thorough evidence based assessment, our occupational therapists create specialised movement based programs that will assist your child build the skills required to overcome the challenges they face.

Elaine Vandenbos (M.OT; B.Ed)

Director | Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Elaine’s background is in primary school teaching. She has taught in several primary schools in Australia as well as in Canada before completing her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2012.  After graduating as DUX from Curtin University, Elaine pursued her passion to support children who have trouble in learning, social activity or daily activity. She has completed extra study in the area of sensory integration therapy and applies this knowledge in all her sessions. 

FUNdamentals Occupational Therapy is an occupational therapy service located in Byford WA. It supports children aged 3-18.

FUNdamentals OT offers clinic-based services in a home setting. Therapists are passionate about developing the whole child through intervention and education. Parents and carers are encouraged to attend and participate in sessions.
